The South Africa Hang-Gliding and Paragliding Association (SAHPA) deeply regrets to convey that a male South African pilot was involved in a fatal hang-gliding accident at Lion’s Head earlier today.
The exact cause of the accident has yet to be determined. A case has been opened with SAPS, and SAHPA will investigate in conjunction with AIID of the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA). Further information on the AIID process.
