Dear pilots,
We have received instructions from the owners of Baskloof Fynbos Nature Reserve, that the Baskloof launch site is closed until further notice. This is due to widespread damage and the risk of erosion.
The recent fires in the region destroyed 321ha (out of 340 hectares), which has created a significant headache for the landowners.
We appeal to all our pilots to respect the landowner’s wishes.
