Kenya will be hosting the first Paragliding Cross-Country competition in 2024. The event is FAI sanctioned by the Bulgarian NAC and is organized by SkyNomad Kenya Paragliding Club in cooperation with Paragliding Association of Kenya.
Entry Fee
The basic entry fee is $150 USD and can be paid upon arrival. For an extra $150 USD it can be upgraded to cover transport, PAK membership fee and helicopter rescue.
Participants are confirmed by showing us their flight ticket to Nairobi.
Organisers
Meet director is Niki Yotov. He has been been meet director of PWC Sopot 2005 and World Championships Bulgaria 2013.
Scorer is Daniel Dimov. After the departure of Ulric Jessop from the PWCA earlier this year, Daniel’s been working as the scorer of the PWC. Together with Yassen Savov as an ideological co-author, Daniel has been the technical force behind the Real Leading Points scoring formula, which will be used in this competition.
Local organiser is Isaac Makimei – a local pilot.
