Dear SAHPA members

We have been informed by SACAA that applications and renewals can be accepted by email only during lockdown and until further notice. The process is as follows:

  1. All documentation must be completed correctly and signed off by the pilot and an instructor.
  2. All documentation must be certified by a commissioner of oath (including printed logbooks).
  3. Documents are to be emailed to office@sahpa.co.za 
  4. SAHPA will send all documentation through to SACAA for processing.

You will receive a SMS to inform you that the licence is processed and that you may send a courier to SACAA for collection alternatively you can also choose to pay SAHPA the applicable fee as stipulated on the membership form and have your licence sent by SAHPA as before.

As on 28 May SAHPA has sent a batch of renewals/applications as above to CAA, which was received just before lockdown. 

Kindly note that the SAHPA office will be open Monday- Friday from 09:00-12:00 for any collections and safety measures/protocols will be in place to protect yourself and the staff. Kindly contact the SAHPA office before collection to make the necessary arrangements. We will keep you up to date with any changes.
