A woman paraglider pilot (age 49) was airlifted from Du Toit’s Kloof Pass in the Cape Winelands District after she had an accident. The pilot is currently in Christian Barnard hospital and she is in a stable condition. It is not yet known what caused the accident, however this will be investigated to understand the cause.
The rescue was co-ordinated by the Aeronautical Rescue Co-ordination Centre (ARCC).
