DESCRIPTION: An area of sand-dunes used for flying training, with the 7km ‘Paradise ridge’ bordering it to the east, offering hours of smooth soaring.

LAUNCH: Beside the carpark is a small launchsite. Soar left, work the first small ridge before crossing the training dune and heading for Paradise Ridge. If you find the first site too small, walk down to the beach, and along at the water’s edge until you see the clear area of the main training dune.
DIRECTIONS: N2 E from Wilderness. 5km past Wilderness, turn right to Kleinkrantz. Turn right at the first four-way intersection and drive on to the end of the coast road. Park and take the path into the bushes on your left for 50m to the takeoff site.
